Work through the task
Evaluate a bounded arithmetic expression with the supported scientific functions.
- Write an expression and select the intended angle mode before using trigonometric functions.
- Use explicit parentheses when grouping is important. This is a mathematical parser; it does not run JavaScript.
- Review the result before copying or downloading. Editing an input invalidates the previous result; keep an original if the transformation matters.
Example to check
2 + 3 * 4 → 14. (2 + 3) * 4 → 20.
Limits and output behavior
Use finite values within the bounds shown by the controls. This calculator uses floating-point arithmetic and rounded display values; an exported decimal is not a promise of exact accounting precision. Unsupported syntax, nonfinite results and excessive expression complexity are rejected.
Troubleshooting
If an expression is rejected, check parentheses, supported function names and the angle mode. Remove unsupported code syntax; split an expression that reaches the documented complexity guard.
Questions
Does this execute JavaScript?
No. The bounded mathematical parser accepts its supported arithmetic/functions. It does not evaluate JavaScript or retrieve variables from a page.
