Processing and privacy

Tool operations run in the browser on your device. The application does not upload entered text or selected files for processing. Loading a page still fetches its code and assets from the site. Ads, analytics and Assistance are disabled.

Run, cancel and reset

Operations start when you select their action. Resource limits and worker deadlines vary by tool and are described beside the input. The shared public processors allow a finite startup period for required engines, followed by a separate bounded compute period. Cancel stops the current operation where provided and keeps the input; Reset clears current input and results. A cleared result cannot be copied or exported as a current result.

Optional drafts are plaintext

Some public workspaces offer explicit Save, Load and Delete local draft controls. Nothing is saved or loaded automatically. Saving stores plaintext in this browser on this device. Reset does not delete a saved draft. Use Delete local draft to remove it; do not save secrets or use this on a shared device.

Security workspace shares this origin

The four security tools are enabled only at the exact HTTPS address https://webtoolsforall.com/workspace/private/. Password, passphrase, hash/HMAC and bcrypt are hash tabs of one page. The page has no automatic drafts, ads or analytics, and its application connection policy denies network requests. It still shares the main site's browser origin and is not independent isolation. Use synthetic test values.

What remains outside the tool

Clipboard history, downloaded files, extensions, other same-origin code and device access are outside these controls. A digest does not encrypt a file; bcrypt cannot recover a password. Converting data does not make it safe to execute. Keep originals, inspect outputs and independently verify significant results.

Requests and questions

Hosting requests and support email are separate from tool-input processing. Read Privacy for those facts and available choices, or contact admin@webtoolsforall.com with a nonsensitive example.
