Work through the task
Switch among the supported document and exact-storage tasks while keeping source text editable.
- Select the intended document task before running; changing tasks keeps source and requires an explicit new run.
- Use the format hints as suggestions rather than automatic detection. The selected formatter determines which syntax is accepted.
- Review the result before copying or downloading. Editing an input invalidates the previous result; keep an original if the transformation matters.
Example to check
Formatting {"v":"007"} keeps the text identifier. Choosing YAML does not silently treat that source as a different document type.Limits and output behavior
Source is limited to 100,000 characters. JSON/YAML/TOML have 10,000 values and 40 data levels; XML has separate node/attribute and element-depth guards. Comments, numeric spelling and other lexical formatting may normalize. YAML aliases/custom tags and TOML null values are unsupported. File import is bounded to 100,000 UTF-8 bytes. Storage mode uses its own exact scalar rules and limits.
Troubleshooting
Confirm the currently selected task and read that parser’s diagnostic. Correct unsupported types/format hints explicitly; changing tasks preserves source and requires a new run.
Questions
Will selecting a different task automatically transform my input?
No. Selection changes the requested operation. The source stays editable and no conversion happens until you explicitly run it.
Input and privacy
Processing runs in this browser. Inputs are not saved automatically. An explicitly chosen local draft, where offered, is plaintext storage on this device. Downloaded files, clipboard contents and browser extensions have separate retention behavior.
